Just had time to read the email from vmware about vsphere 4.1. The only interesting Thing I saw was that ESXi is a must for Future releases. So here´s my goodbye to the old ESX, farewell.
And with all the development ongoing I should consider to switch my Professional career over again to vmware.

licenses per physical cpu but max 6 core, otherwise need Advanced or Enterprise Plus or additional licenses.
ram 256GB except enterprise plus.
