Windows: Windows Event Collector, anyone?

Need to investigate Windows Event Collector, any good resources?

Windows: Event logs to syslog, alternative to snare?

You want to get windows event logs to another machine, maybe a central log server. Then usually you can use WMI (somewhat limited in eps and memory consumtion can be an issue) or you use some kind of agent. Snare is one of the available tools.

But I just came across another tool but I do not have heard about it and how it compares to snare. Do you?
