Selective Color - finally I try to learn it

Still don't know which is the right program to do the job, especially mac native and not expensive adobe photoshop, but here is a good explanation:

You can also use turn on automatic logon without editing the registry in Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition and in Microsoft Windows XP Professional on a computer that is not joined to a domain. To do this, follow these steps:Bildschirmfoto 2010-08-29 um 12.09.45.png
  1. Click Start, and then click Run.
  2. In the Open box, type control userpasswords2, and then click OK.

Note When users try to display help information in the User Accounts window in Windows XP Home Edition, the help information is not displayed. Additionally, users receive the following error message:
Cannot find the Drive:\Windows\System32\users.hlp Help file. Check to see that the file exists on your hard disk drive. If it does not exist, you must reinstall it.
  3. Clear the "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" check box, and then click Apply.
  4. In the Automatically Log On window, type the password in the Password box, and then retype the password in the Confirm Password box.
  5. Click OK to close the Automatically Log On window, and then click OK to close theUser Accounts window.

To take a picture of the whole screen, press Command-Shift-3.

To take a picture of part of the screen, press Command-Shift-4 and drag to select the area you want.

The picture is saved as a TIFF file on your Desktop. Note: Mac OS X 10.2 and later saves pictures as PDF files. See document 107078 "Mac OS X 10.2: Screen Shots Are Saved in PDF, May Be Converted" for additional information.

To copy the screen capture to the Clipboard instead of saving it as a file, press Control-Command-Shift-3 to copy the entire screen to the Clipboard, or Control-Command-Shift-4 to copy the selected range to the Clipboard.

iPad frustration - PDFs are frustratingly frustrating

I am a technology freak. I love new gadgets and so I spent almost a $800 for my 32GB IPAD 3g.

One of the things it should help me is with getting really going with pdfs. Meaning I want one place where to store and sync all my pdfs.

But I ended up with 5 pdf reader on the ipad and none is really great. Some show promise others were not meant for it.

1) sync pdfs from somewhere to a folder structure or using multiple tags
2) all pdf apps shall have access to a single document store!!! So I can use some app that has an advantage over others for some purpose and not sync it into that app or upload

Upload of the files over some download functionality or server is ok but not if you try to come with multiple hundred documents.

pdf apps:

iBook
FastPDF
GoodReader
CloudReader

3) allow for comments, highlighting

I am still trying to figure out how to handle my library of about 2000 documents make them accessible on the ipad without having it stored remotely on some server. The problem is that some pdfs are quite large and until the document is downloaded between 1 minute to 5 minute can pass and that's definitely too long.

HfsExplorer 0.21 works under Windows 7 (Even though its from 2008)

I use allmost everywhere Macs and ended up at the office with my USB drive and was somewhat surprised to that I Could Not See the Disk.

Then i remembered that i used this Disk for timeline and that it Must Be hfs+.

Then I Found hfsexplorer and tried it on Windows 7 64Bit and it worked nicely, albeit I only wanted to Read from the Disk and Not Write back to it.

Next Time i am going to dry the Boot Camp Driver (maybe)
